Homecoming Revisited is a reimagining of my debut album, created to celebrate its 10-year anniversary while honoring the richness of the South African jazz scene. The project brings together a wide community of collaborators — including Kujenga, Bokani Dyer, Linda Sikhakhane, Ndabo Zulu, Siya Makhuzeni, and many others — reflecting the diversity and vibrancy of contemporary jazz in South Africa. Blending influences of mbaqanga, Afrobeats, amapiano, and spiritual jazz, the music bridges tradition with innovation, creating a powerful statement of identity and community. More than a retrospective, the album is a love letter to South African jazz and its global resonance.
